Learn To Shoot a Handgun-
New to shooting, need to brush up before or after your CHL class, want someone other than your spouse/friend to teach you to shoot? Than this class is for you. Class is from 3-5pm, meeting at LoneStar Handgun. You don't need your own handgun as you can rent one of ours. But if you bring your own handgun you will need to bring 50 rounds of ammunition. If you don't own a handgun you can rent one of our semi-automatic handguns for $30 which includes 50 rounds of ammunition. Hearing and Eye protection will be provided if you don't have your own. Please dress appropriately for shooting, which means no tank tops or sandels. The cost of this class is $50 and seating is limited. At the end of the class if you weren't completely satisfied with the quality of instruction we will refund your money, that is our guarantee.
Defensive Handgun 1-
This course covers loading and unloading both administratively and tactically, fundamentals of shooting with an emphasis on marksmanship, stances , recoil management & holstering. This is not a learn to shoot course but a fundamentals course to ensure you have good techniques, you can’t learn tactics until you learn to apply the basics of marksmanship. Pre-requisite is a Concealed Handgun License. 5 hour course, nominal 300 rounds of ammunition. The cost of this class is $150 and seating is limited. Defensive Handgun 2-
Building on the fundamentals covered in DH 1 this course covers stoppages, weak & strong hand shooting, shooting from barriers/obstacles, ground fighting, movement while shooting, distance shooting. Prerequisite is DH1 or equivalent. 5 hour course, nominal 500 rounds of ammunition. The cost of this class is $150 and seating is limited. At the end of the class if you aren't completely satisfied with the quality of instruction we will refund your money, that is our guarantee.
Defensive Handgun 3-
Building on previous courses this course covers more advanced movement techniques, tactics in buildings, shooting from a vehicle, addressing multiple threats, and tactical problems related to the defensive use of a handgun. Prerequisite is DH2 or equivalent. 5 hour course, nominal 500 rounds of ammunition. The cost of this class is $150 and seating is limited. Daughters of Texas (Ladies Only)-
A Women's Course in the Fundamentals of Shooting.Shooting is an exciting and empowering experience and women will walk away from this course with the ability to confidently handle a handgun. This course introduces women to shooting handguns, and is designed specifically for women that have little or no practical shooting experience. The fundamentals and etiquette of safety and shooting are taught in a classroom setting followed up with a live-fire practical experience.
The curriculum includes classroom instruction in the rules of firearm safety, range etiquette, safe gun handling, fundamentals of shooting, and a live fire practical session. The live fire will also include the ability to fire 4-6 different handguns that are ideal for concealed carry.

Urban Rifle-
This course will train you on the proper implementation of long guns for home defense. Topics covered; safety, use of cover/concealment, loading & reloading, use of slings, aiming techniques, room clearing tactics. Prerequisite is DH1 or equivalent. 5 hour course, nominal 300 rounds of ammunition. The cost of this class is $150 and seating is limited.
